Sales and Marketing Internship - The Bank of Kentucky Center an SMG Managed Facility

The Bank of Kentucky Center and SMG seeks a college student looking for an internship opportunity to gain experience in a sales and marketing department that services entertainment areas such as concerts, family shows and other sporting events.

Please note this is a NON-PAID internship for college credit only!

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be college Sophomore, Junior, Senior student at time of internship.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least a 3.0 GPA, administrative experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Marketing, Communications, or Sports/Business Management major preferred.
  • Candidates must have the ability to creatively and enthusiastically handle demands and work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • The candidate also must be proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Outlook beneficial.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented. Able to make independent decisions; quick learner; problem solver
Examples of Responsibilities:
  • Assistance with The Bank of Kentucky Center promotions/festivities
  • Assistance with Sales Campaign
  • Assist with maintaining all contact lists/databases
  • Assist with various projects involving research
  • Perform clerical duties as assigned
  • Assist in organizing mass mailings
  • Data entry as needed
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
