SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for Full-Time Operations Staff at The Bank of Kentucky Center in Highland Heights, KY.

Responsibilities include:
  • Event Set-Up:
    Supervise staff during set-up of various events within The Bank of Kentucky Center; including, Basketball, Concerts, Family Shows, Banquets and Trade Shows. Must be able to work independently from plans and descriptions provided by the Director of Operations or Event Coordinators.
  • Event Staffing:
    On stand-by during event load-ins, rehearsals, events and pack-out; ready to provide assistance to team, production or promoter as necessary. Assuring that the event day flows smoothly and all needs of the client are addressed.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Assures that all Event related equipment is maintained in good working order. This may include; stages and platforms, basketball floor, chairs, tables, pipe and drape, carts etc.
All Operations Staff positions require availability on nights, weekends and holidays.

Kentucky - Box Office Ticket Seller - SMG - The Bank of Kentucky Center, Highland Heights, KY

Job Title: Box Office Ticket Seller
Department: Finance
Reports To: Director of Finance
FLSA Status: Part-Time / Co-op

SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Box Office Ticket Seller at The Bank of Kentucky Center in Highland Heights, KY.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Ticket Seller is responsible for selling admission tickets and dispersing Will Call tickets for The Bank of Kentucky Center Box Office.
  • Sells admission tickets from automated ticketing system (Ticketmaster).
  • Accepts payment and makes change before giving tickets to the patron.
  • Answers questions concerning events, tickets, schedules, and gives information concerning coming attractions.
  • Hands out will call tickets after verifying the patrons photo verification.
  • Balances cash and receipt drawer with manager at the end of each shift.
  • Answers telephone as assigned and may include the following, other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
  • Adheres to all Ticket Seller policies and procedures set by The Bank of Kentucky Center.
  • Provides courteous and professional customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Be customer service oriented and have a fan friendly attitude and a professional appearance.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities include:
  • Event Set-Up:
    Work under supervision of Full Time Ops to accomplish set-up of Concerts, Basketball, Family Shows and etc… Includes physical labor in constructing stages and risers, setting chairs, assembling basketball floor, moving furniture and setting rooms for various clients of The Bank of Kentucky Center.
  • Event Staffing:
    Work under supervision of Full Time Ops to provide assistance to building clients. Includes physical labor in the moving and setting up of chairs and furniture, pipe and drape, stage skirting and other tasks as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of all event related equipment. This may include Stage and risers, basketball floor, material handling equipment etc…
All Operations Staff positions require availability on nights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements are the following:
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years trades schooling in electrical system design
  • Electrical State License preferred
  • Some HVAC and Controls experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency including Word and Excel
  • May be required to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime as well as variable shifts and emergency on-call as needed
